PETER VIOLA is an award-winning writer, producer and director, with outstanding broadcast promotion and advertising experience.

He wrote/produced episodics and critic’s spots for hit series Project Blue Book (HISTORY). Viola-produced spots ran in the series finales of Breaking Bad and Mad Men. He created high-profile commercials for primetime AMC series Turn: Washington Spies, Hell on Wheels, Humans, The Making of the Mob: Chicago, Into The Badlands and The Walking Dead, among others.

Several ran off-air as national ad buys—as well as attracting considerable interest online. The total number of YouTube hits for Turn’s First American Spy exceeded 115,000 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt5E7xgATfo); Hell on Wheels Changing Sides exceeded 238,000 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=volLEUFjLhA).

Spots created by Peter for Turn contributed to a rise in overall audience for the series through S2 and S3’s 10-episode seasons.

Additional work for AMC featured trailers and longer-form work that ran on social media, in movie theaters, out-of-home large screen venues, as well as writing and producing promos for movie and stunts (various Marathons; Fearfest).
